yeah bcly i'm bored so:
make a map of my school in sdk
try and make a plugin that does the same thing as office extreme (ie: switches teams after a certain amount of rounds and has a funny sound.) maybe a few options to turn them off from the menu /

lmao, i was bored and decided to read up on how to make a css map (well basically something to read during my lunch, not really bored :p)
so anyway i started reading from this site, and they put in some pics from hammer and it looks simple as shit xD
i think the hardest part might be finding a torrent for hammer + getting an idea for a map xD might make a 2 story office or something hmm with a basement and what not, sounds good..
edit: did some more reading, it's gets more difficult xD but it's not as difficult as time consuming... seems like you're going to need ages to build a fucking wall with a window.

lol that's not a bad idea actually, this place would be epic to have a match.. although it would be as big as the upstairs of cs_office (maybe even smaller) and narrow corners and passages..
i guess the Ts could spawn at Ikea across the street, and the CTs in the little "forest" behind the building here... and then they'd have to blow up the workshop here xD
but most walls are from glass here, so you could see the other team rushing to the site from a mile away... so i'd have to improvise some extra buildings in the area here or more forest scenario :p

Yea same, i'm not going to make it after all :p
If the compiling wasn't bad enough, the dimensions sure as hell are...
instead of implementing a fucking tool in hammer to measure your walls up to your player model, you have to compile after every wall you build to measure you model against it... to make sure it's all in proportion......
the hell if i'm going to spend my fucking time on that bullshit.. i mean how fucking hard is it to say " hey turp durrr your player models is 8 squares high and 3 squares wide " fucking retards

nice, just found this :

So how tall is the player model in Counter-Strike:Source? He is about 73 units tall, which means that if you made a door that is exactly 73 units high, the player would be able to walk through the door unobstructed. In a crouching position, a player can clear an overhead obstacle of 46 units (thanks to smm967 for the tip).
How fat (or wide) is the player? He can squeeze between two brushes if they are at least 33 units apart, regardless of whether he's crouching or standing.

lmao did some counting on steam, i figured with the 100 euro i got i could buy the whole valve pack... but since i have all the games already (apart from cs1.6, cs:cz, l4d and ricochet), it's no use :p
then i noticed if you buy the orangebox on steam... it costs you €42.96 (without portal) and i bought it in a store for €14.99 (WITH portal) lmao... big rip off imo
